Jebsen Wines and Spirits “Buddy Dollars” Reward Scheme Terms and Conditions
Buddy Dollars Reward program (“BD Reward”) is a customer loyalty program operated by Jebsen Beverage Company Limited. By joining BD Reward as a Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store member, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions below.
1. Earning Buddy Dollars
1.1. All members of Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store can earn Buddy Dollars when purchasing items on Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store.
1.2. Only members are eligible to earn Buddy Dollars. Guests will not have access to the feature.
1.3. The current conversion rate (from purchase amount to Buddy Dollars) is as follows: every HK$100 spent = 1 Buddy Dollar
1.4. Buddy Dollars will be calculated based on your net purchase amount and not awarded based on the rounded amount, e.g. if your net purchase amount is HK$199, you will earn 1 Buddy Dollar. Delivery fees and purchase by cash coupon will not be included in the above calculation.
1.5. Please allow at least 3 working days for Buddy Dollars to be credited to your BD Reward account after your order delivered.
1.6. To check your balance, please click on the “Buddy Dollars” icon of Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store. Our record of your accumulated Buddy Dollars is final and conclusive.
1.7. If you claim refund for or return any goods on which Buddy Dollars were earned, we will deduct and adjust the Buddy Dollars that you earned on that original purchase. No monetary refund will be given for returned products that you purchased by using Buddy Dollars.
1.8. Buddy Dollars are not transferable.
1.9. Buddy Dollars earned during the current calendar year will expire automatically on 31 March of the next calendar year. For example, Buddy Dollars earned between 1 January and 31 December 2022 will expire on 31 March 2023.
1.10. Buddy Dollars cannot be earned through the registration for events
2. Redeeming and Using Buddy Dollars
2.1. You can use your accumulated Buddy Dollars to redeem a cash coupon that can be used for your purchase on Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store.
2.2. The current conversion rate (from Buddy Dollars to cash coupon value) is as follows: 1 Buddy Dollar = HK$1
2.3. The value of the cash coupon can be customized as long as it is not higher than your account’s corresponding Buddy Dollars balance. For example, if you have 499 Buddy Dollars, you can redeem a cash coupon with a value up to HK$499. The highest redeemable amount for a cash coupon is HK$10,000.
2.4. Upon confirmation, Buddy Dollars associated with the cash coupon will be deducted from the balance of your BD Reward account.
2.5. You may use the cash coupon when purchasing items on Jebsen Wines and Spirits Online Store. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and enter the cash coupon code at the checkout page’s price calculation section. Once the cash coupon is applied successfully, the updated amount will be indicated on the checkout page.
2.6. Please note that the cash coupon value must be lower than the cart value. For example, if your purchase amount is $299, you can only use a cash coupon that has an amount not higher than $298.
2.7. Cash coupons will expire on the last day of the third month after the month within which the date of redemption falls. For example, a cash coupon redeemed on 9 February 2023 will expire on 31 May 2023.
2.8. You may use one cash coupon for each transaction only.
3. Jebsen Wines and Spirits reserve the rights to:
(a) adjust, withdraw or cancel any Buddy Dollars awarded or to be awarded to you;
(b) suspend or terminate the BD Reward program; and
(c) terminate your membership
Jebsen Wines and Spirits can exercise these rights at our sole discretion at any time without prior notice.
