Proudly presents the return of Sake Walk, Hong Kong’s premier celebration of Japan’s finest sake. From 3 April to 17 May, explore 10 unique sake brands from 9 acclaimed breweries, paired with culinary delights at 8 renowned restaurants and bars. Enjoy 15 immersive masterclasses, 101 tasting workshops, and exclusive menu promotions. Featuring iconic breweries like Shichiken, Dan, Manotsuru, Senkin, Fukuju, Hakuko, Takizawa, Niizawa, and Eiko Fuji, each offering sakes that reflect their region’s unique terroir and craftsmanship.
Reimagine Fine Sake Pairing: A Culinary Journey Beyond Borders
"Reimagine" also incorporates Chinese and Western cuisines to explore the endless possibilities of sake pairing. Participating restaurants include returning venues AMI, Amber, SOMM, and The Aubrey, as well as exciting new partners Artifact, The Merchants, Sushi Shikon and Zuma. With an expanded capacity of masterclasses open for general bookings, guests who are sake enthusiasts as well as curious new beginners are invited to delve deeper into the world of Japanese sake.

Founded in 1885 by Yososaku Obata, Manotsuru embodies Sado Island’s pristine terroir—pure groundwater, world-class rice, and century-old handmade methods. A tribute to nature, each sake reflects the island’s rugged beauty through bold yet balanced flavors.

Guided by the Kato family for 13 generations, Eiko Fuji (est. 1778) crafts sake as majestic as Mt. Fuji. Their philosophy—Clear Taste, Endlessly Enjoyable, and Food Harmony—creates vibrant, nuanced sakes designed to captivate and complement every meal.
【Sake Walk 2025】福壽 Fukuju Masterclass
Fukuju believes “great sake begins with great koji.” Handmade koji, premium Yamada Nishiki rice from Mt. Rokko, and legendary Miyamizu mineral water define its bold, refined profile. Shushinkan Brewery upholds centuries-old techniques to craft sake with uncompromising depth.
【Sake Walk 2025】仙禽 Senkin Masterclass
Founded in the Edo period, Senkin has crafted ultra-natural sake under the motto “Old yet New.” Now, the 11th-generation owner, Kazuki Usui, is rewriting its future: embracing a “Return to Edo” in 2024, philosophy that revives holistic rice-to-sake “domaine” practices. Partnering with local farmers, Senkin confronts modern agricultural challenges while preserving Japan’s cultural soul—one small-batch brew at a time.
【Sake Walk 2025】 Shichiken 七賢 X Dan 旦
This masterclass highlights the special characteristics of the Yamanashi Prefecture, which is blessed with rich water and sake rice resources, thus leading to an unrivalled variety of different sake types over the years. Producing two celebrated sake brands within the region, Shichiken and Dan perfectly represent the uniqueness of the Yanamashi Prefecture. In this session, participants can compare and contrast sake creations from an 18th and a 20th century brewery, which feature traditional methods with modern aspects.
